Hi there! Welcome to our little corner of the internet, where kitties, chaos, and love collide. 🐾

It all started with a big decision—my husband Tom and I wanted a fresh start, one that brought us closer to nature and our dream of living a more meaningful life. So, we waved goodbye to the hustle and bustle of city life and made our way to a house on a hill near Shenandoah, Virginia.

What we didn’t expect? That our dream would come with whiskers, purrs, and eight unexpected visitors on our front porch!

At first, these adorable little floofs were shy, but food worked its magic, and before long, they were following us around like tiny, meowing shadows. Their trust meant everything to us, but we knew we couldn’t let them live outside forever—not in Virginia’s sweltering summers and icy winters.

So, we did what any (slightly unprepared) cat lovers would do: we transformed our garage into a cozy cat haven, complete with all the essentials (and probably more).

The journey has been equal parts heartwarming and hectic. Early mornings now mean feeding hungry kittens, cleaning up after them, and making sure everyone is happy and healthy. Some came to us sick, so nursing them back to health and ensuring they’re fixed and vaccinated has been a big part of our lives. We’re learning as we go—because honestly, neither of us had experience caring for so many cats at once!

But here’s the tough part: finding homes for these sweet babies. With shelter overpopulation in our area and many of our neighbors already caring for strays, it’s been a challenge to connect them with adopters.

That’s where you come in! These kitties deserve loving homes, and we’re sharing their stories in the hope that one might steal your heart.
